The Professional Master in Mathematics - PROFMAT - is a stricto sensu post-graduation course that aims at improving the professional training of Basic Education teachers.

The regional Jataí of the Federal University of Goiás became PROFMAT's center in 2012, with the first class starting its activities on March 3.
